Skin Peels Hebden Royd
A chemical skin peel is a therapy, which involves a process of applying a range of chemical products, which are applied on to the surface of the skin to remove dead cells. It is an intense exfoliating process to give a younger fresher look and improve the texture of the skin. It can reduce or improve wrinkles, blemishes, hyper-pigmentation, acne scarring, and sun-damaged areas of the skin or to refresh and enhance dull tired skin, and can reduce rosacea and acne. Following the procedure the skin feels softer, healthier and regenerated and the appearance can give more uniform in colour and can also reducing acne scars and reduce lines and wrinkles.
The chemical peel removes the top layer or layers of the skin. When the new skin is replaced it is normally softer and any imperfections are reduced. One peel may be enough depending on the type of skin condition or a course may be required.
