The procedure itself is quick, but the effects are immediate. Being a natural product, the body eventually breaks down the collagen’s so the look is only temporary. The length of time varies dependant on a number of factors, such as age, the area covered (the area around the mouth tends to breakdown quicker due to movement) and the amount of filler required. After the procedure it is not uncommon to occur some slight swelling, tenderness and bruising.
